Selling a Morris Minor?

Why bother, when there are classifieds portals?

Because on a general portal your Minor sits between a used hatchback and an SUV, described in the same eleven fields, seen mostly by people who are not looking for it. The buyer who wants a Morris Minor is not browsing by budget. They are searching by name.

This site is read by those people. A listing here gets photographs at proper size, the car's history written out, an honest condition report, and a permanent address you can send to anyone.

What we ask

• That the car is real and yours to sell. We will want to see the RC and check the numbers match.
• That we can describe it honestly. Every listing here says what needs work as well as what is right. If that is not how you want your car described, this is not the right place for it.
• That you tell us when it sells, so we can mark it sold rather than waste buyers' time.

What it costs

Nothing. We are not brokers and we take no cut of the sale. We built this site because the information did not exist anywhere in India, and a site with more good Minors on it is more useful than a site with one.

Enquiries come straight to you. We do not sit in the middle of the conversation or the money.

What to send

• Ten to twenty photographs — outside from every angle, interior, dashboard, engine bay, and the underside if you can
• Year, registration number and RC status
• What you know of its history: owners, restoration work, who maintained it
• What works and what does not, as plainly as you can put it
• Where the car is, and what you are asking

Photographs taken on a phone in daylight are fine. Photographs that hide things are not — buyers find out at the viewing anyway, and all it costs you is their trust and a wasted afternoon.
